
David has been guiding in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland since 2012. Combined with many years experience in designing and planning adventure tours, David has an exceptionally broad knowledge of Scotland, and an eye for detail for everything that goes into creating a first class experience. David founded Highland Guiding in 2023.

Prior to becoming a guide, Kirsty gained a decade of experience designing and leading bespoke tours throughout Scotland. Kirsty’s knowledge of Scotland and the travel industry is second to none, and she has worked with partners from across the globe. Kirsty qualified as a Mountain Leader in 2023 and joined Highland Guiding as a director in 2025.

Amy joined the team in December 2025 as our Social Media Manager. She’s lived in the Scottish Highlands for the past five years and loves exploring the area, capturing the landscapes, history, stories, and people that make it special. Amy enjoys sharing these moments and inspiring others to discover the Highlands for themselves.

With twenty years of experience working in the adventure travel sector, native Scot Tim is one of the most experienced hiking guides working in the Scottish Highlands. Widely known for his boundless enthusiasm and friendly humour, Tim turns every trip into a joyful adventure, taking great joy in forging connections between people and places.

Will is an experienced outdoor instructor, guide, photographer and filmmaker with a strong background in leading groups through wild and remote places. He has spent years teaching bushcraft and survival skills, delivering guided walks and mountain days, and helping people feel confident and capable in outdoor environments.

Highland local Will Snow has been guiding outdoors since 1989. Escaping regularly to the mountains instilled a passion for wild places. With a degree in Environmental Geography and having a previous 20 year teaching career, Will is as knowledgable as they come about Scotland’s wild places and has guiding walking and cycling tours full time since 2011.
