We spent a magical three days exploring the Isle of Skye. To say that the guide is fantastic really sells the experience short. Yes, we saw some of Scotland's most beautiful scenery but we also learned so much along the way — history, geology, nature, folk tales, local lore and much much more. Combine this with a wonderfully positive attitude and a caring spirit and you'll understand why the only disappointing part of having a Highland Guiding tour is saying goodbye at the end. We'll be back!

We so much enjoyed our first trip with David, we booked two more with him! On all three trips David was our planner and private guide. He showed us the beauty of Scotland - wonderful people, places, food and exceptional nature viewing. Our trips covered the Outer and Inner Hebrides and included walking and boat trips to view bird and sea life, hiking, driving adventures, and history and culture experiences all accompanied on the road by his excellent Scottish music play lists. David collaborated with us during pre-trip planning as well as during our trips, extensively researching the culture and history of each day’s destinations as well as honing his expertise of the flora, fauna, and waterways. Traveling in July, we had fantastic weather! Many puffin, eagle, gannet, skua, seals, and red deer are among the species we have been fortunate to see on our trips besides the beautiful and diverse geography. The added bonus - David is a professional photographer. During and also after the trip he emailed us the most beautiful photos of our travels. Unparalleled photos of wildlife and scenery!
